Rules and Regulations

CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations may be canceled up to 14 days before scheduled arrival. A $10 cancellation fee will be charged for any reservation canceled. Cancellations between 14 days and 96 hours before check-in, the deposit to book will turn into a camp credit that will expire 1 year from the cancellation date. Cancellations within the 96 hours before check-in time will be charged for the site in full.

If you need to cancel your reservation, you must call the park during regular business hours and confirm cancellation with park staff. Email or voicemail notifications are not accepted.

REFUNDS: Camping is an outdoor experience — no refunds or credits provided due to weather. No refunds or credits will be made for early departures.

VIDEO/CAMERA SURVEILLANCE: Property and buildings are monitored. Customer grants to Shoal Creek Campgrounds, its representatives, and employees the right to take photographs of me, my property, and my family/guests in connection with the park. Customer authorizes Shoal Creek Campgrounds and its affiliates, assigns, and transferees to copyright, use, and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Shoal Creek Campgrounds, forever and without compensating me, may use such photographs or videos of me or my image, likeness, voice, actions and/or statements, with or without my name, for any lawful purpose including, but not limited to, publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is 2:00 pm Check-out time is 1:00 pm. All campers and visitors must check-in at the office upon arrival and receive a vehicle pass. Reservations not paid in full on arrival date are subject to cancellation. Late check-out fee is $20, when available. Site passes must be posted at your site for the duration of your stay.

QUIET HOURS: 10:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Children under 16 must return to their own site by 10:00 pm.

SPEED LIMIT: 15 mph or less throughout the park.

PROHIBITED:

  • Generators

  • Glass

  • Fireworks

  • Disposal of Charcoal on the Grounds

  • FirearmsDisorderly Conduct

  • On-Site Maintenance/Washing

  • Clotheslines

  • Grills on Picnic Tables or Other Park Property

  • Permanent Utility Connections & Stairs

  • No Liquid Waste can be Discharged on the Ground

  • No ATVs, Quads, Razors, or any other 4x4 vehicle

  • Aggressive pets

CAMPERS: Parents/caregivers are responsible for their children's appropriate behavior and for being aware of where their children are and what they are doing at all times. Children MUST be supervised in the bathhouse and restrooms. Parents/guardians will be held financially liable for damage caused by their children.

BICYCLE, ROLLERBLADES, SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS: Ride only on roadways and do not ride after dusk. Do not park or ride them on grass, playground, pool area, or through landscaping. Persons under the age of 16 are required to wear a helmet while riding on park grounds.

DRONES: Drones are not permitted anywhere on the Shoal Creek Campgrounds property for privacy and safety reasons.

VEHICLES: You are permitted one RV and two vehicles per assigned site. Vehicles that do not fit completely on your campsite must be parked in the visitor parking area. Do not park on patio, grass, another site, or in the road. Vehicles obstructing the roadway will be towed at the owner's expense. All vehicles must have a parking pass displayed, or they will be towed at the owner's expense.

TRAILERS: Boat trailers may be parked at the boat ramp or the designated trailer parking area. Utility trailers must be parked at the designated trailer parking area. Shoal Creek Campgrounds is not responsible for any damages/theft of trailers or their contents.

GOLF CARTS: All golf carts MUST be registered at check-in, and separate rules and regulations must be signed. A golf cart permit is required and may be obtained in the office. Guests without a valid driver's license are prohibited from driving any golf cart under any circumstances. Licensed guests under the age of 18 may only drive rented golf carts with a parent or guardian on-board and fully in control of the vehicle. Privately owned golf carts must verify proof of bodily injury and property damage liability insurance coverage in the amounts of at least $25,000 per injured person/$50,000 per accident/$10,000 property damage.

GARBAGE: We do not provide trash pick-up services. Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the dumpsters provided. A clean-up fee of up to $50 will be charged if the site is not clean upon departure.

SEWER: Wastewater must be discharged at the provided dump station. Ground discharge is illegal. There are no sewer hook-ups on any sites at Shoal Creek.

WATER HYDRANTS: Our water hydrants are frost proof; however, water must be turned off with hoses disconnected from the hydrant and camper when temperatures are below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. The customer is financially responsible for any frozen hydrants and damage due to non-compliance.

FIREWOOD, FIREPITS, FIREPLACES: NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD PERMITTED IN THE PARK. Firewood is available for purchase at the office. Please do not stack firewood on the grass and do not cut down trees. Campfires are allowed only in designated fire pits and must be attended to at all times. Absolutely no burning of garbage, paper, cans, glass, etc. in your firepit or fireplace. Firewood only. Please do not overload! Fireplaces are designed for campfires only, not bonfires. Excessive heat may cause damage to firepits. Damage to the fireplace will be the financial responsibility of the customer. Please note that all other firepits, including portable gas firepits, are prohibited. Campfires are permitted only with provided fire rings. Guests are not permitted to move fire rings. If fire rings are moved, there will be a $50 charge. Do not dispose of charcoal on the grounds.

BOAT RAMP: Boat ramp is only for the use of registered customers. Please remove your vehicle from the ramp promptly after loading or unloading. All trailers must be registered with the office and may only be parked in designated spaces. Please check with the office if you need assistance with the trailer and boat storage.

MAIL SERVICES: There is no mail service on the property. We ask that you please make alternate arrangements.

EMERGENCY PHONES: For any life-threatening emergency, please dial 911 and promptly let the Margaritaville security or office know. Please call security at 470-663-2220 for any after-hours emergencies. Please call the office at 470-323-3463 during normal business operating hours.

OCCUPANCY: MAXIMUM of 6 people allowed for an overnight stay per site at any time. MAXIMUM of 2 tents are permitted per site.

PETS: Pets limited to 2 per site. Only non-aggressive pets allowed. Must be on a maximum 6' length leash. Must be current on all vaccines. May not be left outside when owners are away from the site or park, nor may they be left inside RV to bark continually. Excessive barking, growling, or any aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. If your pet is not under control, you may be asked to leave the park without a refund. Other than service dogs, pets are not allowed in buildings or pool areas. Do not tie your pet to park property, including trees and picnic tables. NO pets are permitted on the beach. Please clean up after your pet and properly dispose of all pet waste/litter in proper receptacles. NO DISPLAY OF PET CAGES OR FENCES.

LIFE JACKETS: Life jackets are strongly recommended for all ages when swimming in the lake.

VISITOR POLICIES: Anyone not registered to a site at check-in will be considered a visitor. All visitors must register and obtain a car permit at the office before entering the park. Cars parked without a valid permit are subject to towing at any time, at the customer or visitor's expense. The permit must be visible on the dash at all times. Visitor parking is in designated parking areas only. Day visitors must leave by 10:00 pm. Visitors may be restricted during periods of high occupancy. Registered customers are responsible for their visitors and will be held financially responsible for any park property damage. Please make sure your guests are aware of the community rules. Those who do not comply will be considered trespassing.

CAUTION: Please enter the park with care and safety. Damage by a customer or your visitor to park property is the financial responsibility of the customer.

ACCIDENTS/INCIDENTS: MUST be reported to management immediately.

CAMPER/RV: All units must be factory manufactured only. RV's and vehicles must be in kept in good working condition with no leaks of any kind. RV's may be prohibited from entering the Campgrounds if found to be in non-compliance of mechanical, health, or safety codes.

SUB-LEASE: Subleasing of RV pads or campers is strictly prohibited.

VENDORS: No sale or solicitation of any products, including, but not limited to, souvenirs, food, or merchandise. "For Sale" signs permitted only on private campers/vehicles.

NOTICE: Shoal Creek Campgrounds and its affiliates, agents, employees, and representatives are not responsible and assume no liability for any event of loss due to fire, theft, accidents, acts of God, or any other loss, whether injury or loss of property. Additionally, all persons (including visitors) registered to a site agree to release and indemnify Shoal Creek Campgrounds and its affiliates, agents, employees, and representatives from any injuries, claims, or damages arising out of the use of the park or its amenities, including, but not limited to, buildings, firepits, golf carts, pools, and lake/beach access areas. Park staff reserves the right to refuse service to or evict anyone, without prior notice, which creates a disturbance, nuisance, or deliberately breaks any of the park's policies. An eviction will be immediate and without reimbursement of any fees.
